An independent Quality Assurance Department is established in order to maintain quality on every aspect. Personnel working under QA look after all the activities and guide the personnel on achieving quality on their activities. QA personnel are responsible for preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and imparting training to the personnel to ensure implementation and monitor the effectiveness.
The quality of the pharmaceutical product is maintained throughout the import and distribution process by monitoring proper receipt, storage and packing of products as per SOPs. The Storage of the products are done as per the specified temperature conditions. We import cold chain, cool chain and ambient products and we have separate cold, cool rooms and ambient area for storage of such products. The temperature of these cold and cool room is monitored continuously via Smart Logger System. Mapping of cold/cool room, validation and calibration of sensors and smart logger system are performed on yearly basis by qualified expert to ensure proper functioning of the devices with high efficiency and accuracy.
Packing of the temperature sensitive products are done in the designated packing area on appropriate thermocol box to ensure the maintenance of temperature throughout the transport period. We have 5 Deep freezers which are used for freezing the ice packs, used for packing of cold chain products. Yetichem has cold chain van in its fleet to transport cold/cool chain products.
Safety is accomplished by well defined processes and safety equipment such as CCTV Cameras, Fire Extinguishers, Smoke Detector and Emergency Alarm. All these equipment’s are routinely checked for functioning and are well maintained.
Yetichem is free of any insects, flies and rodents. Pest control is performed on quarterly basis by the certified vendors. Adequate number of insecticutors and rat traps placed on vulnerable locations, ensure the facility is free from pests and rodents. Healthy environment is maintained by routine cleaning and sanitization activity. Power backup and UPS, auto genset are installed as required.
QA department also ensures proper documentation of process and policy. QA department closely monitors product complaint received, recall management, deviation handling, pharmacovigilance and carry out Quality Risk Assessment and self inspection on routine basis to monitor performance, identify the shortcomings and to act on them.
